Loom Creative Directs Shark Cull Video

Jason Knight • Feb 10, 2016

Loom Creative is very proud to be working with the National No Shark Cull campaign to end lethal mitigation practices against shark species all around Australia.

In support of this movement, Loom helped create a live action video on the subject in conjunction with National Geographic’s Ben Britton. Ben

is star of the popular TV show Wild Animal Encounters and is a staunch environmentalist. You can find out more about Ben on the Wild Animal Encounters site.

Take a look at the video and let us know what you think:

The video is made up of stock footage predominantly, that came from a number of sources. We received some amazing and startling footage from Greenpeace.

We received some surreal footage from Ocean Ramsey , a shark advocate based in Hawaii. Ocean has been swimming with sharks all of her life and runs a conservation organisation with the aim of raising awareness around the plight of sharks.

We also received footage from an amazing stock footage company called Migration Media in Western Australia. They specialise in footage of marine species and the oceans. Check out their work. Migration Media
